- Always wear a DOT Helmet while operating the motorcycle.
- Operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited (no exceptions).
- Renters and passengers must read and sign the rental agreement and liability release.
- Traffic and parking violations are the renter’s responsibility, and any undisclosed parking tickets will result in a charge to the renter, plus a $50.00 processing fee.
- In cases where an immediate inspection of the rented motorcycle is not possible upon return, Ryde Inc will hold the coverage deductible for up to 48 hours or until inspection is feasible.
- Only individuals who have signed the rental agreement and liability release are allowed to operate or ride the rented motorcycle.
- Unauthorized operation of a rental motorcycle on non-paved roads not designated by Ryde Inc will result in a penalty equivalent to the applicable coverage deductible, in addition to any damages incurred.
Requirements and Licensing:
- A valid motorcycle license is mandatory for all motorcycle rentals.
- Renters with learner’s or novice licenses are subject to specific restrictions (please inquire for details).
- All motorcycle drivers must be at least 21 years old.
- If your license does not meet Canadian standards, you must possess a valid International Driver’s Permit.

- Motorcycle rentals require coverage deductibles of $2000 deposit
- Reservations and Cancellations:
- Our motorcycle rental business is unique, offering various makes and models with limited availability.
- While we make every effort not to switch reservations to different bikes, please understand the importance of reserving your desired bike during our high-demand, short rental season.
- Rentals require a non-refundable deposit of $350.00 per bike when booking, with the remaining balance, including insurance.
- Reservations made within 30 days of the rental date must be prepaid in full.
- Cancellations made before 30 days of the reservation date result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
- Cancellations within 30 days of the reservation date result in the forfeiture of the rental deposit, with the remaining balance issued as credit and insurance cost refunded.
- No refunds or credits will be provided for early returns.
- Cancellations due to licensing requirements not met by the renter will result in the full rental value being charged, with no credit or refund issued.
- Any changes to confirmed reservations may incur a $25.00 administration fee.
- Incidents:
- Breakdowns and accidents may occur during your rental. Your safety is our top priority.
- We maintain our bikes meticulously to minimize issues during your ride.
- In the event of an accident, we aim to restore the bike to its original condition, not profit from damages.
- Renters are responsible for checking engine oil levels, tire pressure, and other maintenance items at the start of each rental day.
- Ryde Inc provides 24-hour support contact numbers for assistance during incidents.
- Flat Tires:
- While flat tires are unforeseen, renters are responsible for 50% damages caused by punctures.
- We contribute 50% to the cost of a new tire since we benefit from its extended lifespan.
- Replacement tires must meet vehicle manufacturer specifications and Transportation Safety Board of Canada standards.
- In the event of a flat tire, Ryde Inc reimburses the renter 50% of the replacement tire cost.
